Robbie Hattan serves as the Athletic Director at Colon Community Schools, bringing a deep connection to Colon and a passion for building an athletic department that reflects the character of the community. Robbie and his wife, Lyndsey, reside in Colon where they are proud parents of three children, Isaac, Dawson,and Breslyn. Family is at the center of everything Robbie does, and he believes athletics should provide student-athletes with the same kind of support, accountability, and sense of belonging. A longtime coach and school leader, Robbie returned to Colon after previously serving in athletic and facilities leadership at Pennfield. He has spent years coaching and working with student-athletes, including building the Colon football program from 2016 through 2022 and helping lead the Magi to a state championship in 2019. Now, as Athletic Director and Head Football Coach, he is focused on creating an athletic culture where students can compete at a high level while learning the lessons that matter long after their playing days are over. Robbie believes athletics are about much more than wins and losses. They are about teaching young people how to work, lead, handle adversity, represent something bigger than themselves, and become the kind of people their families and communities can be proud of. Robbie’s vision for Colon Athletics is built around four simple principles: Pride. Grit. Family. Believe.

Jenny Wielenga came to Colon Jr/Sr High School as Dean of Students at the start of the 2021–2022 school year. A year and a half later, she transitioned into the role of Principal, bringing a focus on academic growth, student well-being, and a collaborative school culture. Jenny holds a leadership degree from Grand Valley State University and a K–12 administrative certification. She lives in Colon with her family and is dedicated to fostering a student-centered learning environment and staying actively involved in the community.
