The Colon Magi cross country team, led by Head Coach Tim Minor, is off to a promising start as they continue to build both numbers and momentum this fall. After opening the season last Wednesday at Pittsford, the Magi showed encouraging signs that point toward a strong year ahead. On the boys’ side, senior Dalton Williams led the way with a 10th-place finish. Williams looks poised for a breakout season, providing veteran leadership and consistency to a group that has grown in depth. For the girls, freshman Belle Noga made an impressive debut, also placing 10th in her first high school race. Noga’s performance is a glimpse of the potential she brings to the team and adds excitement to the future of the program. The Magi will return to competition tomorrow at Heritage Christian Academy, looking to carry the energy from their opener into another strong showing.
