After a strong 16-6 regular season, the Magi will open district play today at 5:30 PM, facing off against the Athens Indians in the district semifinal at Burr Oak High School. A victory would advance Colon to the district championship game, where they would meet the winner of the Mendon vs. Burr Oak matchup, which takes place immediately after their game. The Magi enter the postseason with momentum, having closed out the regular season with a 49-36 road win over Athens. Now, they'll aim to defeat the Indians for the third time this season and extend their championship aspirations. All district tournament games, including Friday’s 7:00 PM championship matchup (if Colon advances), will be played at Burr Oak High School.
