The wait is over. A new season of Colon Magi Athletics begins this week, with every fall sports program in action. The week opens Monday with a historic moment for Colon Athletics as the girls golf team competes in the first match in program history. The Magi will tee off at 3:30 p.m. at Riverside Golf Club in Battle Creek. Later that afternoon, the varsity volleyball team travels to Mendon for the County Tournament beginning at 4 p.m. On Tuesday, the JV volleyball team hosts Niles Brandywine at 5 p.m., while the varsity cross country team travels to Three Rivers for a 5 p.m. meet. Wednesday brings another full evening of competition. JV volleyball travels to Hillsdale High School for a 5:30 p.m. match, while JV football opens its season at home against Bridgman at 6 p.m. The week concludes under the lights Thursday night as the varsity football team opens its 2026 season at home against Burr Oak. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. We are excited to see our student-athletes represent Colon with pride throughout the week.
